Welcome to the era of iRevolution 4.0, where electric vehicles (EVs) are at the forefront of transforming the automotive industry in India. Despite significant advancements, the primary challenge hindering the widespread adoption of EVs in India is the limited availability of public charging stations. As of now, India has installed 907 government-funded public EV charging stations. However, the country requires approximately 400,000 charging stations to support its growing fleet of 2 million electric vehicles by 2021.
The Indian Government’s Initiative

In response to this challenge, the Indian government has opened the EV charging station business to all individuals without stringent qualification criteria. This move presents a lucrative opportunity in an industry that remains largely unexplored. If you’re considering venturing into the electric vehicle charging station business, we’ve compiled a list of prominent EV charger manufacturers in India.
